Sweet Cordis

CONCEPT

Dulce Cordis is a coffee and pastry shop that makes Portuguese and Angolan desserts, combining 2 different gastronomic cultures through European and African flavors.

The key goal was to carefully preserve the unique atmosphere inside the historic building. That is the main reason for soft and natural color choice, along with the brick wall in the arc and properly fitted to it. There are echoing sofas, arched doorways in the interior, wall-mounted wooden stripes and bar counter that links the entire space all together.

The undulating lines and shelves accurately represent the beauty and uniqueness of coffee color pallette. Everything is intentionally designed in delicate characteristic hues that naturally fits the space and moodboard. Pieces of furniture were designed by architects' sketches, made precisely for this project and executed by local craftsmen.
